With great pleasure, Spezia Calcio announces that thanks to the effective synergy with the Mayor and the local authorities, the expertise of the GAU Arena company of the architect Gino Zavanella, the availability of Clarin Italia Tribune S.R.L. and the valuable contribution of the work team coordinated by the head of the infrastructure, Riccardo Lazzini, the renovation of the "Curva Piscina" of the Alberto Picco stadium has been completed ahead of schedule.
The first phase of the three-year project strongly desired by the Platek family has therefore ended with an incredible success. In fact, the renovated Curva Piscina, which can accommodate 3176 people divided into two sectors, has brilliantly passed the inspections of the Supervisory Committee and the Lega Serie A, and therefore, starting from the home match against Udinese, scheduled for Sunday, September 12th at 15:00, the Picco will return to be the protagonist in Serie A, this time with the Aquila crowd in the stands.
It's been a long summer of constant work, but all those who have worked so that Spezia Calcio could play the entire season within friendly walls, have worked thinking about all the fans who have patiently and lovingly placed their trust in the club, determined to make their voices heard, ready to be again the protagonists of a support that has always been able to make the difference, regardless of the category and the opponent.
The "Picco", although at 50% seating capacity, will roar again and the Aquile will finally return to rejoice with their people, who have been away from their home and the colors they love for too long.
